Trapped on the Wall: A Heartbreaking Tale of a Cat Crying Upon Seeing Its Rescuer After a Week
For the past week, residents on the 22nd floor of this building have been hearing the cries of a cat. The strange thing is that the sound is so close, yet no one could find the animal. Every time they tried to rest or during the late hours of the night, the pitiful cries would fill the air, causing sleepless nights and inconvenience in their lives.
So, one of the residents sought our help. After a period of searching, we finally discovered the culprit. It was a gray and white cat with sorrowful eyes, trapped next to a water pipe. We could see him, but finding a way to get him out proved to be a challenge. The gap was too narrow, just enough for him to breathe. It seemed that this poor cat had been stuck here for a long time.
His cries were desperate, raspy, as if his voice was giving out. If our rescue team didn’t find him today, a heartbreaking ending would have likely occurred. Each cry pierced my heart and shattered it into pieces. We were in negotiations with the homeowner to find a way to extract the cat from his predicament.
In the meantime, a colleague brought some soup as a treat for the cat. The little feline stretched his neck, devouring it fiercely. Once we obtained permission, we started chiseling the wall where the cat was trapped. The location was cramped and filled with obstacles, slowing down our progress.
It took nearly an hour, but we finally managed to create a small hole just big enough for the cat to squeeze through. With my hands, I tried to pull him out from there. There he was, today’s lucky cat. He seemed exhausted and frightened, overwhelmed by the presence of so many people.
You’re safe now, buddy. From now on, we’ll take care of you.
